We are beginning a new emphasis in our Church on small groups. In the next few weeks, we are going to try some new things, as we are in the process of putting together a structure that will unite our church as we move ahead. Many in our leadership are going to be involved in a Bible study through the summer and this is mostly designed to help them to prepare for leading  home study group of their own. We will be encouraging you to participate in at least one small group during the week.  This small group concept is right out of scripture and is where real spiritual growth occurs.  We are excited to see God working in the  our little church and as He leads we want to be sure to follow His will, as we shine His light in these dark last days.

We are feeling the effects of the economic down turn here at CMBC.
Not in the giving, our people have always been faithful to give, but many of our men are having to travel to find work. This is just one of the tough parts of life, but it is hard on all of those families. We need to be in prayer for those away and for those left home holding down the fort. We also need to be alert to needs that might arise. We have to be ready to help even when we aren't asked to. We are a family and when one part is in need we must all be ready to respond.
God has given us a wonderfully close congregation, this blessing requires responsibility for one another to maintain it and to bring glory to God. As each of us discern a need in the congregation, if we cannot meet it ourselves we must communicate it to the leadership so that we can see that the need is met. Our testimony in this community is dependent upon how we treat those within our own body of believers.

Our fall schedules have officially begun with the start of school. The cooler days and temperature variations are sure signs  that fall is upon us. The hunters are gearing up for the season and the wood piles are getting topped off.  We need to be thinking of those around us that need the help getting ready for winter.
